IT Infrastructure Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our FastPay team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our systems infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance across our platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers, including Red Hat, Ubuntu, and CentOS.
• Configure and troubleshoot virtualization environments, particularly VMware, vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
• Oversee Domain Controllers, including Group Policy, DNS, Active Directory, and Windows clustering, to maintain high availability.
• Configure and maintain networking equipment and solutions, including L2 and L3 switches, access point controllers, and firewalls.
• Develop and implement monitoring tools using Zabbix and Nagios.
• Manage Virtualization with a focus on VMware solutions.
• Configure and secure TCP/IP network protocols (DHCP, DNS, FTP, LDAP, SSL, SSH, SFTP).
• Maintain servers (Linux/Windows) including Active Directory, asset management systems, version control repositories, and web servers (Apache/Nginx, Docker).
• Manage backups, file restoration, disaster recovery, system builds, hardware maintenance, automation, filesystem housekeeping, application installation, and security management.
• Analyze, install, configure, and operate security and application tools.
• Tune performance and ensure high availability through effective infrastructure design and monitoring/reporting tools.
• Create and maintain accurate deployment documentation and infrastructure diagrams.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or a related field.
• Proficient in Windows and Linux patching and patch management.
• Monitor and document all configuration changes regarding settings and policies.
• Apply security best practices related to server infrastructure.
• Manage infrastructure operations and change management processes.
• Research and deploy new solutions to optimize the FastPay operational environment.
• Expertise in network architecture and design.
• Ensure compliance with security regulations and relevant industry standards (ISO 27001, ISO 20000, ISO 22301, PCI DSS).
• Provide technical support to other departments and teams.
• Extensive hands-on experience with VMware and virtualization environments, particularly using ESXi and vCenter
