IT Officer

Job Overview:

We’re on the lookout for a skilled IT Officer to join our team. This role is instrumental in maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring system security, and providing tech support that keeps our operations running smoothly. will work closely with various departments to identify their IT needs, implement solutions, and provide technical support.

Responsibilities:

• System Maintenance: Manage and maintain the IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
• Technical Support: Provide efficient and effective technical support to all employees, addressing and resolving IT issues promptly.
• Security: Implement and monitor security protocols to safeguard company data against threats and vulnerabilities.
• Updates and Upgrades: Manage system updates and software upgrades to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Training: Assist in training employees on IT systems and cybersecurity best practices.
• Project Management: Participate in IT projects, from planning through to implementation and evaluation.

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT support role or similar, demonstrating a broad understanding of IT infrastructure and systems.
