Job Overview

  • Service on base customers

  • Provide technical assistance by installing, configuring, testing and upgrading computer software and hardware.

  • Train computer users on new systems by performing technical demonstrations to acquaint them with operational procedures.

  • Perform routine maintenance of computer/network systems.

  • Carry out diagnostic tests to identify and resolve faults in our computer/network systems.

  • Collaborates with project members across all departments to assist them with their technical requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Install and configure software and computer systems.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software and hardware.

  • Maintain procedures and reports that provide technical support to the entire organization.

  • Support the implementation of new solutions or applications.

  • Assist with password or login problems.

  • Participate in meetings to provide insight and opinion on technical requirements and equipment purchases.

  • Test, evaluate, and submit decisions concerning new technologies for the project.

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, not required

  • Network+, A+, Security+, CCNA, etc. preferred, not required

Skills, Abilities And Years of Experience

  • 2-4 years progressive responsibility and experience in IT systems

  • Familiarity with standard industry tools and equipment

  • Team player and contributor

  • Familiarity with TCP/IP and LAN/WAN configuration

  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairing complex IT issues.

  • Ability to manage time and prioritize numerous projects simultaneously.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
