Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently looking for Graduate – IT& Systems to support our team in Basra. Candidate must be able to work on daily basis.

 

Our dedicated engineering teams offer a wide range of engineering consultancy services to an international client base. Our capabilities include design and operational support, engineering and design analysis, technical advisory services and the development of bespoke software and visualisation tools and services.

 

Skills / Qualifications

Key Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Liaise with group IT to assist in day-to-day management of on-site IT hardware inventory
  • Set-up and maintenance of user profiles and administration of all required user directories
  • Troubleshooting both local network and server faults
  • Support any hardware moves, installations and changes
  • Workstation/Laptop configurations/reconfigurations
  • Assist with set-up and ongoing management of all third-party software usage
  • Liaise regularly with external third-party technical support partner
  • Deployment of new servers into both physical and virtual environments and completion of any required data backups

 Required Competencies and Experience:

  • Strong inter-personal and IT related problem-solving skills
  • Relevant IT qualification
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
