Job Summary:

DNO is a Norwegian oil and gas operator focused on the Middle East-North Africa region and the North Sea. Founded in 1971, DNO is Norway’s oldest oil company. With a leading position in terms of reserves and production in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, DNO produces around 110,000 barrels of oil per day from the flagship Tawke field.

DNO is seeking a Junior Architectural & Structural Engineer to be based at the operations sites in Kurdistan for a fixed term (6 months). The Junior Architectural & Structural Engineer will be joining an international and dynamic working environment characterized by experienced, skilled and motivated employees.

The Junior Architectural & Structural Engineer shall be responsible for the co-ordination of the Architectural & Structural drawings and documentation between the Engineers, Construction Personnel and the Contractors. the determination of requirements for Architectural & Structural Design and the co-ordination with other works being undertaken by the Company and other parties in relation to the Projects.

Key Responsibilities:

•Interpret instructions from the Project Manager Tawke.
•Interpret Architectural Design & Structural documents
•Produce Architectural Design drawings using AutoCAD.
•Interpret Structural Analysis Designs including Ground investigation, staticanalysis, load determination, environmental load factors.
•Discuss Architectural & Structural drawings with construction teams and engineersto gain feedback.
•Review completed Architectural & Structural construction drawings from thirdparties for accuracy and conformity to DNO standards.
•Management and delivery of the Project works in accordance with the companiesHSE policy
•Project planning and document control.
•Raise internal project technical and commercial approval documentation, reviewscope changes and issue change requests as required;
•Participate in HAZID and Layout studies.
•Monitor project progress and ensure necessary information flow betweenstakeholders to meet project milestones
•Deputize for the Site Engineer as required.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

•Minimum 2 years of experience in onshore capital expenditure (capex) projects,preferably within the oil and gas industry.
•BSc in Architectural Design or Structural/Civil Engineering
•Fluent in English language.
•Experienced in AutoCAD.
•Familiar with commonly used project management concepts and tools, used tocontribute project control information.

•Regular field visit is required.
