Overall Objective of the Job:

 

The Junior HR Assistant ‘s duties involve a wide range of support activities inside HR department. An important part of this role will be to act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions. He/she will be responsible for preparation and maintenance of HR files; receiving, tracking, and filing attendance reports, daily leave reports and leave requests.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Updated Personal Files for all the staff in hard and soft copy attaching all staff required employment documents.
  • Manage and follow up on staff attendance, daily leave reports and leave requests.
  • Support payroll processing monthly by inserting staff attendance correctly and efficiently.
  • Know HR policies and procedures and be prepared to support staff in understanding and following these procedures in the absence of the HR Manager and/or HR Assistant.
  • Upload purchase/payment requests to the approval center.
  • Upload leave requests to the system.
  • Print staff ID badges.
  • Liaise with the taxation team to update and provide documents when needed.
  • Follow up on official letters signature and completion.
  • Performs any related task as requested by the direct supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, administration, or a related field.
  • 2 years’ experience in professional human resources
