Key Account/ SD officer

Job Overview

Purpose of the Position: is a critical role within the sales and account management team, responsible for expanding relationships with strategic clients or key accounts.

Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, goals, and challenges.
  2. Account Growth: Develop and execute account plans to drive revenue growth and upselling opportunities.
  3. Client Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify client objectives and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  4. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and key clients, ensuring effective and responsive communication.
  5. Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service-level agreements to ensure mutual satisfaction and profitability.
  6. Account Strategy: Develop and implement account-specific strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  7. Client Advocacy: Act as an advocate for key clients within the organization, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  8. Problem Resolution: Address client concerns, issues, or escalations promptly and effectively, collaborating with internal teams to find solutions.
  9. Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key account performance, including sales metrics, customer satisfaction, and retention rates.
  10. Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and threats for key accounts.
  11. Contract Management: Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from negotiation and execution to renewal and amendment.
  12. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align strategies and deliver exceptional value to key accounts.
