Job summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal aspects related to trading activities, industrial regulations, and dealing with investment authorities. This role requires a deep understanding of the complex legal landscape surrounding these areas, as well as the ability to provide strategic legal advice that aligns with business goals of the company.

Duties:
-Provide expert legal advice and guidance to the organization’s leadership and stakeholders on matters pertaining to trading activities, industrial operations, and compliance with investment authority regulations.
-Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
-Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting trading, industrial operations, and investment activities.
-Act as the main point of contact for interactions with investment authorities and regulatory bodies.
-Prepare and submit necessary documentation, reports, and applications to ensure smooth compliance with investment regulations.
-Collaborate closely with internal departments, external legal counsel, regulatory agencies, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure cohesive legal support for the organization’s initiatives.

Qualifications:
– Graduate of Law
– Minimum 5 years of Experience working with companies, specifically FMCG companies.
– Resident of Baghdad, with good networking skills.
– 4-5 years of experience as a practicing lawyer, with a proven track record of handling trading, industrial, and investment-related legal matters.
– Deep understanding of trading laws, industrial regulations, and investment authority frameworks.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
– Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
