Lead CMMS & Planning Engineer is responsible to manage the set-up and operation of Computerized Maintenance Management System and planning of maintenance activities.Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manages the set up and operation of CMMS at site
  • Develops plans for daily and planned maintenance activities
  • Ensures record keeping and generation of reports related to CMMS and planning
  • Reviews CMMS performance with all relevant sections
  • Leads continuous productivity through regular maintenance plans review with maintenance manager, Teams Leads and Engineers
  • Coordinates the site requirements of the IT hardware, software and Tools related to CMMS
  • Support the set-up and management of necessary IT/communication infrastructure
  • Ensures all software backups & manage all hardware
  • Leads O&M process digitization as per guidelines of Plant Management
  • Trains O&M team on CMMS

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate Engineer in Electrical, Mechanical or Instrumentation & Control from an accredited College or University.
  • Minimum 8 years of combined cycle power plant O&M experience with minimum three years in team lead position in plant maintenance.
  • Minimum 5 Years Experience on set up and management of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS, Maximo) preferably at a Combined Cycle Power Plant.
  • Minimum 3 years of O&M experience at GE F Class Gas Turbines is a must

  • Strong business and financial skills
  • Experience of costing, planning and managing plant outages
  • Prior experience with GE O&M in same capacity is preferred
  • Knowledge of GE products, services, and processes (GE employees only)
  • Prior customer interface experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Proficiency with computer tools
  • Ability and willingness to live at site for prolonged periods
