Job Overview
Key Goal:
Responsible for preparing final drafts of contracts and agreements. Ensuring the company’s status and all its policies, procedures and operations are compliance with legal requirements. Drafting official letters to the regulatory bodies related to the company’s services.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Draft and review contracts with different entities on both public and private sectors.
- Maintain company’s registrations and legal status
- Explain, interpret and analyse laws and regulations to different departments of the company
- Communicate with CBI (exchanging letters and reports) and meeting with them. Interpreting regulations into processes
- Ensure the Company is fully complaint with regulations. Answering internal legal and compliance queries of different departments.
- Draft, interpret and preparing processes and monitoring risks related issues.
- Draft official letters and answering queries of different public and private entities
- Communicate with NGOs and prepare tenders and agreements upon their requests
- Working with local authorities and educating company’s employees about the issues important to our services and regulations.
- Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
- Prepare reports for senior management and other external regulatory parties when necessary.
- To be aware about all the Iraqi financial laws and electronic payment regulations.
- Ability for legal searching and documentation of all the related laws and regulations.
- Represent the company in the legal cases.
- Ability to obtain the required security certifications as required as a part of job duties and business requirements.
- Read, understand, enforce, and adhere to the information security policies, standards, and procedures, and do not hinder in any way the proper execution of procedures defined within.
- Understand and abide by our non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, and rules of behaviour policy

Experience & Qualifications necessary to perform the job:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law or International Law. Preferably Masters or M.Phil.
Experience: 5 years
Language: Fluent English and fluent Arabic are must, good command in Kurdish.
Good command of computer skills especially Microsoft Word
