Job Overview

Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

The Liaison Officer is a part-time position that will act as the Country Manager and will be the company’s representative for all business dealings in Iraq.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all possible business opportunities for the company
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the business
  • Monitor, coordinate and communicate the strategic objectives of the business
  • Develop and foster relationships with clients and other stakeholders
  • Promptly responds to client correspondences and answers queries, as needed
  • Act as the representative of the business to the clients
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as needed.

Qualifications to be successful in the role:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • At least 5 years of client management experience
  • Able to establish and nurture beneficial business relationships
  • Customer-oriented
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative and solve problems
  • Capable to negotiate with and influence others
  • Able to analyze data and create necessary reports
  • Thrives in fast-paced and high-pressured environment
