Integrated Management Systems Specialist / HSE

Job Overview

Requirments:

• Graduated from a four-year university department (Preferably: Engineering departments)

• Have worked in the field of occupational safety and / or environmental legislation for at least 5 years (Preferably also experienced in environmental management processes)
• Have command of local Occupational Safety and Environmental legislation
• Have an official Occupational Safety Specialist certificate
• Have knowledge of Turkish and English
• Have preferably taken part in ISO 45001 Occupational Safety, ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems activities
• Have strong communication skills, are solution-oriented and prone to teamwork
• Pay attention to details and have analytical thinking
• Have command of MS Office applications
• Have no obstacles to travel abroad
• Have a driver’s license and can actively drive

We are looking for a Management Systems Specialist.

Job Description:
Following up all occupational health and safety management processes (Occupational health and safety management system, site/location visits, occupational accident prevention, compliance with legislation, Occupational Health and Safety boards, risk analyses, training and awareness, management of chemicals, emergency management, etc.)
Following up all environmental management processes (Waste management, compliance with legislation, Environmental impact – dimension analyses, Training and awareness, environmental accident prevention, site/location visits, etc.)
 Follow up, implement and develop activities to ensure continuity of management systems.
 Ensure analysis, definition and documentation of all business processes.
 Ensure effective operation of QDMS document management system.
 Ensure awareness-raising on management systems and provide training.
 Plan and conduct internal audits/site tours. Accompany external audits and represent the company.
 Manage Corrective Activities/Actions based on nonconformities experienced in processes.
 Initiate improvement activities by taking into account customer complaints.

 Conduct risk analysis, environmental impact/improvement, work/environmental accident and occupational disease prevention studies.

 Follow up local legislation and ensure compliance.

 Ensure management of chemicals and prepare SDS (Safety Data Sheet).

 Follow up periodic inspections and controls.

 Ensure emergency, waste and wastewater management.
