Materials Coordinator

Main role is to coordinate materials required supply with various disciplines and report status to customer,

Responsibilities are but not limited to:

Ensure spares cataloguing setting based on maintenance and operations needs,

Evaluate MTO from Engineering and Operations to ensure all information are aligned and captured.

Familiar with operation material specifications; capable of raising queries to avoid any discrepancies.

Check materials availability considering all department stocks assessment prior raising any request for Purchasing.

Investigate and propose material alternative if required one not available

Prepare material request for job execution and follow up on Material Issue ticket execution,

Issue direct requisition and report on procurement activities related to specific scope of works

Coordinative vendor offers technical evaluation with technical people support,

Follow up on un used material to be returned to stores,

Support local order deliveries to store, assessing certs availability prior to allow vendor to access supply base,


Technical English fluent,

Microsoft package familiar, mainly outlook, excel and words,

Diploma or degree/ITE in supply chain or logistics desirable,

Possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience in material coordination,

Previous experience working within Oil & Gas desirable
