Media and Public Relations Team Leader

About the Job: The Media and Public Relations Team Leader is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company’s media and public relations strategies to enhance brand reputation and visibility. The role involves leading a team to ensure consistent messaging, effective media engagement, and the successful execution of PR campaigns aligned with the company’s goals in the automotive industry.

Main duties & responsibilities:

• Develop and execute media and PR strategies to position the company as a leader in the automotive industry.
• Collaborate with senior management to align PR activities with business objectives and brand positioning. Working to achieve the communication policy and show the bright face of the group companies. Openness to press institutions, government departments and private sector companies in a way that enhances the position of the group and its companies among the public.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the Media and PR team to foster a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Delegate tasks effectively while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Conduct training sessions to keep the team updated on PR trends and practices.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with automotive journalists, industry influencers, and media outlets.
• Organize and coordinate press briefings, media tours, and test drive events for key stakeholders.
• Oversee the creation of press releases, media kits, and PR content for product launches, events, and announcements.
• Manage crisis communication strategies to mitigate risks to the brand’s reputation.

Required Qualification:

• • Education: Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in media relations, public relations, or communications, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Very good presentation, collaboration, and attention to detail
  • Languages: English, Arabic
