We are looking to hire a Mid-Stream Sales Engineer for our operations in Iraq.

Location: Erbil, Iraq

Job Title: Mid Stream Sales Engineer

The Sales Engineer is responsible for maximizing account sales of a segment’s products and services. The candidate is a highly competent, experienced and effective individual who has a particular interest in remaining in sales, and does not wish to become a sales manager. The role is one where the market, customer and company realize the benefit of an increased level of relationship and technical understanding which demands skills that can only be developed from a longer placement on an account or in certain geography. The position reports to the sales manager.

Successful  Sales Engineers are strong communicators capable of building lasting and professional relationships with customers. They are experts in pipeline and opportunity management processes and have a deep knowledge of the markets where customers operate, and of the competition’s offering, pricing tactics and sales strategies. They effectively use sales business systems and have a proven record of successful negotiations and have a strong bidding track record.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers on sales targets.
  • Displaces competition.
  • Develops and actions an approved sales plan for assigned accounts.
  • Establishes lasting, professional relationships with customer contacts.
  • Meets regularly with customers, and is intimately familiar with their business plans and objectives.
  • Communicates changes to account and sales management.
  • Maintains integrity in all words and actions ensuring ethics, quality and HSE are evident and a key differentiator.
  • Leads large bids in location.
  • Understands customer’s local environment and identifies new relevant technical applications.
  • Listens for and communicates opportunities for other segments and product lines to operations, segment and account management.
  • Keeps current on all new relevant technologies and ensures marketing collateral is available for those technologies.
  • Coordinates scheduling with the service delivery organization.
  • Ensures customer issues are responded to and managed effectively.
  • Assists management in developing revenue forecast for budgets.
  • Communicates by example, the value and use of business systems for driving sales performance.
  • Coaches and mentors junior staff and assists with talent management activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s of Engineering or Science is Minimum
  • Minimum 5 – 7 years of experience in Midstream Sales with experiece in Production Facilities and Process System are a must
  • Must be able to legally work in Iraq. Iraqi candidates preferred or current Iraqi residents may apply.
  • Must be fluent in English and Arabic.
