Duty Station: Iraq – Homebased, with travels to Baghdad and Anbar, Iraq

Duration: 1 August 2024 – 30 January 2025 (70 working days)

STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in environment, biological sciences, biodiversity, or a field related to the theme of work.

Experiences:

• Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience in the relevant field – Environmental Management works, Capacity Building, data collection, stakeholder’s engagement
• Working experience with local government policies and regulations in Anbar, and experience with the Ministries at the Federal level in Iraq
• Experience in facilitation of workshops and consultations on a high level.
• Experience in drafting and reviewing environmental technical reports.
• Experience in working with UN or international agencies as staff or national expert.

Language:

• Fluency in written and spoken in English and Arabic.
