Their team is composed of dedicated drivers, driver supervisors, and administrators, all working together to ensure a seamless experience for their customers. They are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their team and drive their success to new heights.

Job Summary:

As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our client’s company, overseeing the performance of their branch locations, managing their driver teams, and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with other managers and supervisors to optimize delivery processes, improve efficiency, and maintain a safe and positive work environment for their employees.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the transportation company, including managing branch locations, driver teams, and support staff.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure the highest levels of efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with driver supervisors and location administrators to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the delivery teams, implementing strategies to improve productivity and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with local transportation regulations and guidelines.
• Manage budgets and allocate resources as needed to meet operational objectives.
• Coordinate with human resources to recruit, train, and retain top talent for the driver teams and support staff.
• Foster a positive work environment and company culture, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans for growth and expansion.
• Continuously monitor industry trends, technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation or logistics, with a proven track record of success in operations management.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  Familiarity with local, state, and federal transportation regulations and guidelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with transportation management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
