Partnerships Manager (m/f)

in Erbil

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration until September 30, 2025. The place of work will be Erbil, in KRI. The position is paid according to SG7. ( 3,040,000 IQD )

 

1. Objectives of the position

 

The aim of the position is to provide technical support for donor contract management (deliverables, workplan, logframe, etc), manage reporting for all grants and serve a focal point for donor communication and also within the unit to provide support to  local partner organisations with the implementation of projects financed by Welthungerhilfe according to the specified directives in terms of content, schedule and budget, in order to help them achieve project goals.

 

The task and responsibility of the Partnerships manager is to professionally support the project team, partner organisations and target groups in terms of achieving the project goals.

  1. Fundraising, Partners Relations, and Proposal Development
  2. Contract development, Grants Management, Reporting and Donor Communications
  3. Implementation and updating of Partnership Strategy
  4. Partners Management

 

3.          Specific Activities and duties of the position

    1. Fundraising, Partners Relations, and Proposal Development
  • Support the Identification, assessment and pre-select new project ideas in coordination with identified partners based on the country programme and in line with the Multi-Annual Country Strategy and the Annual Plan
  • Responsible for coordinating the development of concept notes and proposals with partners, with support from Head of Programs, Head of Projects, and support services. Develop concept notes for Innovative pilot projects, in cooperation with International and Local organizations.
  • In Coordination with the Head of Programs and Country Director, support representation of  WHH  in relevant Coordination mechanisms and relevant meetings

 

    1. Contract development, Grants Management, Reporting and Donor Communications
  • Develop and Monitor partner reporting schedules, ensuring reporting occurs correctly and in due time (narrative reports) to donors in coordination with Finance and Project Managers
  • Support the Head of Programs in the drafting and compiling reports (both narrative and financial) before donor submission.
  • Organization of Project review meetings with partners, ensuring follow up of action points for smooth coordination for project implementation.

 

 

    1. Implementation and updating of Partnership Strategy and roadmap

 

  • Responsible for leading the implementation of the partnership strategy and roadmap
  • Responsible for updating when relevant the partnership strategy
  • Responsible for leading due diligence processes and drafting capacity building plans and following up on its implementation

 

  1. Partner Management
  • Coordination, review, and assurance of partner contract requirements
  • Monitoring and reviewing the proper implementation of partner contracts in accordance with the specified regulations and quality standards.
  • Preparation of partner contract overviews for budget monitoring purposes.
  • Quality check and assurance, preparation of aggregated internal and external partner contract reports in cooperation with the programme/project management.
  • Contact person for partner contract reports and partner contract inquiries.
  • In Liaison with Head of Programs, contribute to the process of monitoring partnerships performance and evaluation of ongoing partnerships.

 

Your Profile

Professional/ formal qualification

  • University degree
  • 3 to 5 years’ professional experience working in similar position with relevant tasks and responsibilities

Foreign language skills

  • Fluency in English ,Kurdish and Arabic (written and spoken),
