- Planning, leading, organizing and controlling operations in the parts department
- Enhancing customer satisfaction by maintaining a high level of parts supply-ability while minimizing inventory and other costs
- Generating stable profits for the dealership
- Providing strong support to the service department (i.e. by improving fill rate to the service department, pre-pulling parts for technicians, etc.)
Market Operations
- Developing proposals for improving customer satisfaction
- Monitoring competitors and promoting parts sales
- Planning and contributing to the dealers’ parts and service marketing programs
Organization
- Organizing the parts department to maximize the efficiency of the parts and service staff
- Maintaining conditions of 4S in the parts department
Economic Management
- Carefully monitors the dealership’s parts-related indices and creates ambitious parts sales, service rate, and stocking level objectives
- Continuously monitors and strives to improve efficiency in the parts department
Main Tasks
- Accurate processing of customers invoices and receipts
- Upkeep of customers service history files
- Promote and ensure customer satisfaction
Authority and Organizational Position
- Responsible for the entire Parts Department
- Reports to the Branch Manager
- Cooperates closely and meets regularly with the Service Manager
