30376 – PLANNING AND REPORTING SPECIALIST

At Eni, we are looking for a Planning and Reporting Specialist within Eni Iraq B.V. in BasraIraq. You will be supporting the Planning and Reporting Manager in maintaining and executing planning, budgeting and financial reporting processes in Financial Reporting Systems; conducting financial, operational and KPI analysis; assisting in conducting economic evaluations/project monitoring and in the preparation of Company’s Director Report & Financial Statements under IFRS.

As a member of the Finance Department you will be responsible for:

  • Executing the actual reporting, assisting with budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes in line with the Group’s calendars
  • Generating reports on financial and operational performance and conducting financial and operational analysis to identify trends, assess financial performance and make recommendations for improvement
  • Conducting financial and operational analysis to monitor company performance, identify deviations from objectives and recommend actions for improvement
  • Maintaining data accuracy in all planning and reporting systems
  • Collaborating with other departments within the organization to gather data and share information, ensuring effective communication and collaboration around planning, budget and reporting processes
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of planning and reporting activities
  • Identifying and mitigating risks that could impact financial performance
  • Assisting with the preparation of the company’s Director Report & Financial Statements under IFRS
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant MSGs, Procedures and Operating Instructions
  • Performing ad-hoc analysis where required.

This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:

  • Extensive Oil & Gas Industry experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably Masters) in Economics/Accounting/Business Administration or any related discipline
  • Chartered Accountant (ACCA/CPA) or similar desirable
  • Fluency in written and spoken English (Italian language is advantageous)
  • Excellent numeracy skills and strong technical background, including proficiency in database management and other relevant tools in data analysis to collect, analyse and interpret data
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and consistently meet deadlines
  • Risk aware, strategic thinking, problem solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and solid knowledge of SAP or similar ERP.
