Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently looking for P&O Coordinator to join our team in Basra, Iraq
- Understanding the various laws within Iraq
- Assists the relevant P&O team with planning and delivery of specific work activities
- Supports P&O activities as required in support of the employee life cycle
- Supports line managers with basic P&O activity and queries
- Coordinates events/P&O programs as required, ensuring relevant stakeholders are kept informed of progress
- Manage and maintain accurate employee & company compliance files as well as general program record keeping files accurately
- Collaborate with Shared Services to ensure that changes in employee status, pay, benefits, promotions, leave or any other adjustments are processed correctly and on time
- Accountable for delivery and customer satisfaction levels within P&O Operations Support
- Support and participate in emergency response activities
- Collaborate with PRO to ensure that visa for new joiners and visa cancellation for leavers are processed on time
- Monitoring of service provision, analysis of processes and data as well as continuous improvement of the service delivery
- Interface with Business Partners to understand their needs and implement service delivery solutions that positively impact the end delivery to customers
- Support the P&O Process Owner to ensure all P&O policies, processes and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated
- Accountable for delivery and customer satisfaction levels within P&O Operations Support.
- Support and contribute to Wood redeployment process
- Supporting payroll investigations, overpayment / underpayments in line with company requirements and processes
- Support mobilization projects as assigned by line manager
- Undertake on-call and emergency response duties as and when required
Skills / Qualifications
- Good standard of education – HR or business-related qualification preferred
- Knowledge of people practices and applicable legislative frameworks
- Previous experience in an HR environment preferred
- Knowledge of changing regulatory environment preferred
- Experience supporting the achievement of performance targets
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to deal with frequent change
- Ability to organize and prioritize
- Consistently model the group’s values
