Procurement Operations Specialist
Location: Baghdad – Karkh District
Working days: 5 days / 8 hours

Summary:
Supports operational procurement activities at regional level for all categories. Ensure suppliers are meeting expected performance and sustainability requirements. Conduct PR to PO activities and work directly with suppliers to ensure they are meeting expectations for cost and quality and timeliness of supply to support sustainable profitable growth in line with the company vision.
Main Responsibility:
- To follow the closure of the POs created, to engage in the solution of invoice / payment problems with the supplier, to provide information cycle to the central procurement for the solution of the problem on the issues that are centrally agreed.
- Ensuring timely execution for sourcing & PR-PO conversion as per agreed lead time.
- Handle supplier disputes and queries for transaction-level activities.
- Complete supplier assessments for pre-contract minimum supplier requirements according to policy and for operational performance once selected to do business with the company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in the fields of Engineering/Finance/Business Administration.
- English Language proficiency is a must.
- Dealing with a significant large – scale change initiative.
- Dealing with an innate problem or challenges.
- Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
