Procurement Specialist

Job Overview

    Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducting market survey for ensuring best prices and quality.
  •  Handling day to day procurement activities under supervision of the procurement manager.
  • Applying company’s procurement policies and procedures for
  • delivering high quality and cost-effective procuring process.
  •  Seek out reliable vendors and suppliers for TIQ procurements.
  • Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
  • Monitor Supplier database.
  • Archive all procurement contracts both as hardcopy and electronic copies.

      Requirements:

  • At least 2 years ‘experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
  • Fluency in Kurdish and English, Arabic is a plus
  • Iraqi nationality
  • Knowledge of the local market and vendors for related services
  • Active team player
  • Detail oriented and good in archiving.
  • Multitasking, able to manage multiple procurement tasks and inquiries simultaneously
  • Maintaining a high level of confidentiality. Understands the importance and sensitivity of business information.
  • Analysis skills. Monitor the market conditions and ensure best prices are obtained.
  • Negotiation skills. Negotiation with dealers and customers.
