Job Overview
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting market survey for ensuring best prices and quality.
- Handling day to day procurement activities under supervision of the procurement manager.
- Applying company’s procurement policies and procedures for
- delivering high quality and cost-effective procuring process.
- Seek out reliable vendors and suppliers for TIQ procurements.
- Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
- Monitor Supplier database.
- Archive all procurement contracts both as hardcopy and electronic copies.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years ‘experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
- Fluency in Kurdish and English, Arabic is a plus
- Iraqi nationality
- Knowledge of the local market and vendors for related services
- Active team player
- Detail oriented and good in archiving.
- Multitasking, able to manage multiple procurement tasks and inquiries simultaneously
- Maintaining a high level of confidentiality. Understands the importance and sensitivity of business information.
- Analysis skills. Monitor the market conditions and ensure best prices are obtained.
- Negotiation skills. Negotiation with dealers and customers.
