About the role
The Product Owner for Taxi Services will develop strategies to train taxi drivers and manage the planning and improvement of our taxi services. This role involves overseeing operations across all cities, ensuring smooth delivery, and monitoring service performance. The Product Owner will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the service for efficiency and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vision and Strategy:
- Define the goals and roadmap for the taxi service.
- Align the taxi service with Tiptop’s overall business strategy.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with finance, commercial, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment and support.
- Gather input from customers, drivers, and partners to identify pain points and opportunities.
- Driver Recruitment and Training:
- Set a plan for recruiting taxi drivers to ensure a sufficient and reliable fleet.
- Collaborate with the operations team to design and implement driver onboarding and training programs.
- Ensure drivers are equipped with the necessary tools, knowledge, and support to deliver excellent service.
- Tailor and Design Offers:
- Create and implement promotional offers, discounts, and incentives to attract and retain customers for the taxi service.
- Design integrated offers that combine taxi services with Tiptop’s food delivery platform.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design campaigns that highlight the synergy between taxi services and food delivery.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the taxi service (e.g., number of rides, customer satisfaction, driver retention).
- Use data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Cost Management and Financial Evaluation:
- Monitor and optimize the cost per ride to ensure profitability while remaining competitive.
- Evaluate the financial performance of the taxi service, including revenue, expenses, and profit margins.
- City Management:
- Manage the taxi service across all cities, ensuring consistent quality, performance, and growth.
- Adapt strategies to meet the unique needs and challenges of each city.

- Market Research: Ability to analyze industry trends and competitor offerings to ensure the product remains competitive.

Education:
Bachelor Degree
Languages:
Native Kurdish, Upper intermediate Arabic, Upper Intermediate English.
Experience:
2-3 years of work experience.
