Position Summary
The Program Assistant will support the implementation of a project implemented by Asuda Organization in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The role includes administrative and programmatic support, helping ensure efficient operations, data collection, coordination, and reporting. The Program Assistant will work closely with survivors, partners, and stakeholders to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of the cash assistance program for GBV/SGBV survivors.
- Support case management, ensuring beneficiaries are referred, assessed, and provided with the necessary support.
- Liaise with field staff, psychologist, Lawyers, and other stakeholders to coordinate service delivery and follow up on cases.
- Maintain up-to-date records of beneficiaries, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
- Help in conducting assessments, surveys, and interviews with survivors to evaluate their needs.
- Assist in the cash disbursement process, including verifying eligibility and ensuring timely delivery.
- Provide administrative support to the program team, including scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, and managing communication.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and program documentation for donors and stakeholders.
- Participate in training sessions aimed at improving staff and community awareness on GBV/SGBV and the cash assistance program.
- Assist in organizing outreach activities and awareness campaigns for survivors in collaboration with local communities and partners.
- Collect and compile data for program monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
- Support in tracking program performance, beneficiary outcomes, and financial expenditure.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, Gender Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in GBV/SGBV programs, humanitarian assistance, or social work.
- Experience in cash transfer programs or financial assistance projects is a strong advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in Arabic and English Language.
