Projects Manager

Job Overview

  1. JOB PURPOSE

The Projects Manager is responsible for overseeing successful management of projects and serves as the primary point of contact between the clients and the company for project-related concerns.

  1. ACCOUNTABILITIES

Client Communication & Coordination:

  • Communicate daily with client’s Program/Site Management Team to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
  • Leverage a strong understanding of project’s Statement of Work to navigate client interactions and resolve any client-related issues promptly.
  • Be available on short notice to meet with the client as requested and attend meetings with client as needed.
  • Review all correspondence for accuracy and detail before sending to the client to ensure clear and professional communication.

Staff management & Client Interfacing:

  • Manage and resolve all matters related to AT Group’s contracted labor staff and other projects, including vacation approvals, ensuring staff meet required contractual presence on the Base, addressing disciplinary measures, and handling staff movements in coordination with the client.
  • Monitor contracted staff for any behavioral issues or performance concerns, such as repeated warnings or work deficiencies, and take necessary appropriate actions or initiatives and contact HRD for support and further steps if needed.
  • Liaise with client on visa and passport matters.

Project Operations & Compliance:

  • Ensure that services outlined in the contracts are delivered on time and in accordance with the Statement of Work.
  • Vendor interfacing and managing issues and other concerns with a bottom-line of ease of workflow for the existing contract.
  • Coordinate with Client’s QA, ESH, and other departments on audits and incidents to maintain compliance and resolve issues.
  • Provides alerts and updates regarding new regulations imposed by client as well as any changes in the Base Policy.
  • Coordinate with the Contracting Office and the Base Operating Support – Integrator and establish ATG presence in the Base.
  • Travel to other Bases as needed to engage with the client and support project operations.

Team Oversight:

  • Regular reporting and updating with AT Group Management initiating a path for better engagement with existing client as well as new/prospective clients in the Base.
  • Monitor and mentor site supervisors and team leaders to ensure that behavior standards and job duties are being met or exceeded.
  • Arrange and attend regular meetings and gatherings with team leaders and supervisors to promote relationship-building and team collaboration.

Managerial Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to subordinates, ensuring they have the necessary skills, resources, and support to succeed to achieve continuous growth.
  • Develop and lead high-performance teams that consistently achieve their targets, contribute to company objectives, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.

  1. QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in business administration, project management, or any other field.
  • Clear driving license.
  • Due to the nature of the job requirements, US/British citizens are highly encouraged to apply.

5. EXPERIENCE

  • 7+ years of experience in a project management role or related experience.
  • Prior experience in liaising with clients
  • Prior experience in managing company or project resources
  • Experience working in the Middle East is preferred.
  • Prior experience working with U.S. government contractors, or Department of Defense (DoD) is preferred.
  • A background in military is an advantage.

6. COMPETENCIES

  • Familiarity with client relations and how to manage expectations effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently
  • Understanding of quality assurance and compliance standards relevant to the successful execution of projects.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams and ensure that all project milestones are achieved efficiently.
  • Proactive to anticipate challenges and implement solutions swiftly.
  • Fluent in English is required, other languages are an advantage.
