Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

Primary role will be overseeing all workshop quality control and quality assurance activities performed by the workshop personnel. Responsibilities include approval and signing off of all job packages documentation in compliance with local safety requirements. You will be expected to follow a specified learning plan that will include various computer-based learning modules as well as classroom training. During this phase, you may take on miscellaneous tasks as assigned to you by your Supervisor.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
  2. Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
  3. Coordinate and assist the QHSE Manager to manage Quality, Health, Safety and Environment audits carried out by Customer and certification bodies.
  4. To Maintain a Document Control System in Place.
  5. As per audit plan periodically conduct QHSE audits / follow up audits of the facilities / suppliers and assist in the Continual Improvement.
  6. Preparing Statistical analysis of the QHSE System and report to RSDM.
  7. To schedule periodic QHSE Training, Job Training through approved Third Party Institutions when required.
  8. To initiate training along with Department Heads in the countries and make proper arrangements for sending the personnel to the training.
  9. To conduct/arrange HSE task like Near Miss Incident and accident reporting along with Region / Country QHSE Management
  10. Participate in all QHSE meetings and to report any non-conformances, Near Miss Incident and QHSE Improvement according to the QHSE System.
  11. Ensure OEPS and related processes are understood & adhered to by all staff.
    • Oversee all workshop quality control and quality assurance activity performed by workshop personnel.
    • Responsible for maintaining the service history files for rental tools and compiling job package documentation.
    • Responsible for controlling and maintaining a calibration Management System of: Workshop Equipment’s, Testing, Detections and Measuring Equipment’s.
  12. Recommend measures to improve methods, performance, and quality to increase efficiency
  13. Coordinate the startup of new operations with a close attention to detail.
  14. Ensure all quality data required by customers is delivered and presented.
  15. Manage all issues affecting service delivery in a timely manner.

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-2 years of experience in the Offshore / Onshore Oil & Gas industry
  • Occasionally must be able to work in various weather conditions. Required to meet heavy deadlines.
  • Must be a team player with good communication skills, both verbal and written.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Engineering Degree or Equivalent.

Essential

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Able to work Under pressure
