Job Overview
Position: QHSE Manager
Hours: 8 Hrs. (Saturday to Thursday)
Location: Erbil, Kurdistan Region
Duties and responsibilities:
- ISO Standards Implementation: Oversee and ensure the effective implementation of ISO standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, to drive operational excellence and compliance.
- Policy Development: Develop and maintain QHSE policies, procedures, and guidelines to align with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
- Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular QHSE audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and compliance gaps.
- Training and Education: Provide QHSE training and awareness programs to employees and management, fostering a culture of safety and quality.
- Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and non-conformities, and develop action plans for mitigation and prevention.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive QHSE records, reports, and documentation for internal and external purposes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with local, state, and federal regulations related to QHSE and ensure company compliance.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk reduction, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Education, Job Requirements & Skills:
- Proficiency in Kurdish, and English languages (Spoken and Written) is A MUST, Arabic is a plus point.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field.
- +3 year of experience in the QHSE and ISO standards
- Relevant certifications in QHSE and ISO standards.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
- Proficiency in QHSE software and tools.
- Strong project management skills.
