Job Overview


  • To monitor and control the implementation of the approved QA/QC plan
  • To ensure that qualified welders and welding operators are working in accordance to approved welding procedure
  • To review all procedures and queries related to WPS and coordinate with the Quality Superintendent
  • To witness and monitor of WPS/PQR for Structure and Piping activities
  • To supervise and monitor all QA/QC activities performed for construction, installation and pre-commissioning
  • To ensure that the works are closely inspected by the contractor’s QC inspection team (radiographic test, UT, NDT, etc)
  • To submit a QC report to the Company Site Representative and Quality Superintendent, when deviations are detected so that the contractor can be instructed to take corrective action
  • To monitor the progress of QA/QC activities on work sites and submit regular reports to Quality manager
  • To report any anomalies to his hierarchical superiors
  • To review qualification of all NDT personnel and Welders
  • To ensure that contractors comply with QA/QC requirements regarding documentation filling, material and control traceability, and materials reception, storage and preservation
  • To ensure compliance on work sites with QA/QC rules and standards and report any anomalies.
  • To ensure awareness and compliance with HSE rules and regulations by subordinates and contractors
  • To carry out any other duties or tasks that may be assigned by his hierarchical superiors
  • To monitor and coach the respective teams of contractors on the achievement of QAQC targets and Company goals in accordance with the QAQC Manager instructions



  • Support and enforce project guidelines and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) objectives
  • Attend HSE meetings and training when necessary
  • Participate in or lead Job Safety Analysis, make suggestions, stop dangerous situations, and report anomalies, accidents, and incidents
