Wood is currently recruiting for Risk & Compliance Coordinator to strengthen our team in Basra, Iraq 5/2 daily work we are only considering applications from local Iraqi nationals preferably residing in Iraq, Basra

Responsibilities

  • Help Leadership teams embed a culture of continuous and proactive risk management and risk controls oversight.
  • Aid and advise on the implementation of quality risk registers and risk action plans.
  • Aid development and sustainability of risk management competency across functional business teams.
  • Facilitate continuous risk identification, assessment, planning, performance management and risk reporting activities.
  • Support and facilitate risk reviews at all levels of the business.
  • Engage relevant subject matter experts to advise on risk identification, assessment, control, mitigation and planning.
  • Support the transition of risks between risk owners.
  • Work under the direction of the ROO Risk Specialist

Qualifications

  • Coordinators must be degree qualified with minimum 3 years’ experience in a risk management related role;
  • Must be fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Iraqi Nationals with Basra Residency preferred for this role
  • Level of Experience
  • Level 1: 3-year relevant work experience with a core technical knowledge of discipline
  • Level 2: 5-year relevant work experience with a deep technical knowledge of discipline
  • Level 3: 10-year relevant work experience with a subject matter technical knowledge of discipline
