Position Summary: The Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in driving sales by providing technical expertise and support to our sales department. This role involves understanding the technical requirements of government clients, presenting tailored solutions, and ensuring successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Presentations: Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients, explaining how our software solutions meet their needs.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design solutions that meet specific client requirements.
- Sales Support: Assist in responding to RFPs/RFIs, preparing proposals, and negotiating contract terms.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Product Customization: Recommend and implement product modifications to meet client-specific needs.
- Problem Solving: Provide technical support to clients, helping them resolve any issues with our software solutions.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to provide insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales engineering role, preferably in the B2G sector.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software solutions and procurement processes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
