Sales Manager

Job Overview

To ensure maximum efficiency and profitability of the company and maximizing sales team potential, developing and implementing sales plans and supervising sales staff.
Required Knowledge & Experience
•Bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing or business administration, or in a related field

•Work Experience in FMCG industry in sales, Minimum 5 Years.

•Very Good English and fluent Arabic are must, fluent in Kurdish

•Good command of computer skills especially Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

•Self-motivated, self-directed and competitive with strong organizational and interpersonal skills

•High communication and interpersonal skills

•Time management & problem solving.

•Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner

•Availability to work flexible shifts

•Craft sales plans and targets and to ensure the profitability targets are met on a regular basis for all channels and areas of sales operations.

•Prepare department business plan and annual budget, track and monitor the deviations ratio and adjust accordingly.

•Maintain and increase market penetration to meet the brand leadership position in the market.

•Maintain high level of customer satisfaction whilst maximizing profit.

•Improve the quality of customer service and retention by enhanced services and real-time communication with the sales help desk to find out dissatisfied customers and take immediate actions.

•Maintain a high level of relation with all corporate customers to ensure constant flow of profitable business and take care of all their problems irrespective of the source of the problem.

•Analyze the training requirement for providing a satisfactory staff development program. Ensure training needs are met and accurate records are kept to maximize effectiveness. Coaching and developing the sales team.

•Ensure all new recruits in the department have gone through the orientation and induction program before assigned to a particular job

•Maintain excellent and professional relations with all in order to achieve a very healthy working environment.

•Motivate all staff reporting to him and maintain an environment of healthy competitiveness in order to achieve their monthly targets and better results.

•Establish and develop the reporting systems and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to the management in a timely manner.

•Keep the financial aspects of the business under constant review and suggest necessary action to higher management whenever change is necessary.

•Service margins and sales commissions should be on time and as per the policy laid down by the management.

•Maintain effective control of expenses in line with budget objective. Carry out monthly examination of all expenses and look for saving potentials.

•Achieving the sales value, volume and market share targets. Ensuring commercial hygiene compliance, forecast accuracy.

•Developing the optimal distribution strategy and ensuring its roll out. Customer Management building effective relationships.

•Devising the Customer Marketing Plans for the various brands and retail environments/Channels.


•Ensuring an open and positive work environment which is instrumental in motivating the field sales and translates into superior work performance and higher employee retention.
