Sales Manager – Luxury Car Dealership

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Car Sales Manager to lead our dynamic sales team at our car dealership showroom. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in automotive sales, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive sales performance while delivering exceptional customer service.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership & Strategy:
  • Inspire and guide the sales team to achieve or surpass sales goals for new luxury vehicles.
  • Create and execute sales strategies aimed at attracting new customers while retaining current ones.
  • Evaluate market trends and customer preferences to refine sales strategies and manage inventory effectively.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the sales journey, from the first interaction to follow-up after purchase.
  • Quickly address customer concerns and feedback to uphold the dealership’s strong reputation.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWI) and corporate clients.
  • Team Development & Training:
  • Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team on product knowledge, customer service, and effective sales techniques.
  • Hold regular team meetings to review targets, discuss challenges, and explore opportunities.
  • Encourage the team to meet both individual and dealership-wide objectives, providing performance incentives.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Collaborate closely with the inventory management team to ensure a sufficient supply of luxury cars to satisfy customer demand.
  • Supervise the ordering, stocking, and pricing of new vehicles to remain competitive in the market.
  • Sales Reporting & Performance Analysis:
  • Analyze sales data and generate regular reports for dealership ownership or senior management.
  • Monitor individual and team performance, pinpointing areas for improvement and implementing necessary corrective measures.
  • Ensure that sales targets align with the dealership’s overall financial goals.
  • Marketing & Promotion:
  • Work with the marketing team to design and implement promotional campaigns that boost showroom traffic and sales.
  • Establish partnerships with external entities, such as high-end brands or local luxury service providers, to enhance dealership events.

 

  • Negotiation & Closing:
  • Support complex sales negotiations, ensuring customers receive the best possible value.
  • Supervise the closing process to ensure a seamless experience for the customer.
  • Compliance & Administrative Duties:
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant laws, manufacturer guidelines, and dealership policies.
  • Review and approve contracts, pricing, and vehicle delivery details.

Qualifications:

  • (10 years’) proven experience in automotive sales, luxury sales are preferred.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of the automotive market, trends, and customer expectations.
  • Ability to motivate and manage a diverse sales team.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and dealership management systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing or engineering or related field is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
