Job Overview
The Security Project Manager oversees the day-‐to-‐day security operations of the site. Maintains a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by establishing and enforcing security policies and procedures; supervising the security guard force
Job Responsibilities:
- Leads weekly event security briefings with internal stakeholders and public safety. Conducts investigation as required and ensure reports are completed.
- Trains and assesses staff to ensure familiarity with and implementation of the site procedures.
- Provides effective direction to staff in emergency response situations and manage facility with regular updates.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with local, state and state law enforcement and life safety agencies.
- Assists in identifying and assessing emerging threats, weaknesses and opportunities which could impact security project operations.
- Prepares project security monitoring program for implementation at the beginning of each
- Ensures that security plans’ implementation is carried out 100%.
- Ensures that emergency plans are available for all projects covering the all emergencies scenario such as bomb threat, brawl, strike etc.
- Ensures that incident cases are investigated and reviewed and initial report is submitted within 24 hours and final accident investigation report within 72hours or proper justification be provided for any delay might
- Maintains the Security Operations Manual up to date for use by all on site security personnel to cover duties, individual instructions for each post, attendance, use of security equipment, dress standard; training
- Ensures that all business recovery/contingency plans and/or procedures held within the security control
- rooms are always kept up to date.
- Ensures that resources are appropriately and efficiently allocated to key areas of work and that priorities are always covered adequately.
- Conducts a variety of industry operational studies, recommends modifications to security and safety programs, policies, and procedures as appropriate.
Job Knowledge & Skills
- Crime Investigation
- Knowledge of Qatar Laws for Safety
- Knowledge of all emergency policies and procedures so that they may appropriately respond should any of these emergencies occur
- Root Cause Analysis methods
- Proficient in Arabic and English
- Knowledge of security best practice and legislation affecting the security role
- ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this
