Responsibilities in this role

  • Manage sellers for the designated geography for FMCG/Small Electronics categories for the B2B
  •  Define the relevant assortment for the categories (Brands, Products, SKUs, etc.) based on a deep
    understanding of the retailer sales mix
  •  Identify reliable best price sellers for the targeted assortment and implement a supplier acquisition the process to onboard sellers onto the B2B marketplace
  • Improve performance metrics for sellers to ensure target KPIs are met by working closely with
    designated sellers on a daily basis
  • Anticipate customer expectations, changing customer perceptions of online commerce in Iraq, and regularly share insights with the Leadership Teams
    An Ideal Candidate Profile for this Role:
  • 4-6 years of prior experience in Iraq managing suppliers for a supermarket for the FMCG/ Electronics category
  • Experience in launching a new brand in Iraq, entering new geographic markets, and working with B2C/B2B e-commerce start-ups in FMCG in MENA will be a strong advantage
  • Deep operational understanding of FMCG merchandising, digital marketing, campaign execution, and pricing
  • understanding of KPIs for global brands and ‘ways of working to ensure strong brand relationships are contracted with mutual benefit to Amal and Brand/Distributor

Job Requirements

  • Graduate Degree in any field is acceptable
  • 4-6 years of relevant seller/supplier management experience
