Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and accurate record-keeping.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
  • Coordinate and facilitate external audits, ensuring timely and accurate submissions of documentation.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff and interns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
