Position: Senior Content Creator Specialist

Reporting To: Marketing General Manager

Duty Station: Erbil branch office


Responsibilities of the Job:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the brand’s voice, values, and goals.
  • Create compelling written, visual, and multimedia content for various platforms, including but not limited to: blog posts, social media posts, videos, infographics, podcasts, and more.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, research trends, and identify content opportunities that drive engagement and audience growth.
  • Maintain an editorial calendar to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.
  • Generate creative ideas and innovative concepts to showcase products, services, and company initiatives effectively.
  • Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics and emerging trends to ensure content is accurate, informative, and up-to-date.
  • Optimize content for SEO and ensure it adheres to best practices for online discoverability.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools and use insights to refine content strategies for improved engagement and conversion.
  • Stay up-to-date with content marketing trends, digital technologies, and platforms to propose innovative ideas for content creation.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • At least 4 years in a similar role.
  • Fluency in English, Arabic, and Kurdish.
  • Iraqi nationality.

Qualifications:

  • Work experience in marketing, communications, and content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Kurdish, and Arabic languages.
  • Experience in content creation, copywriting, and/or translation.
  • Proficiency in crafting engaging and grammatically correct written content in multiple languages. A keen eye for detail and strong editing skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) to create visual content that aligns with brand aesthetics. Basic photography and videography skills are a plus.
  • Experience in producing and editing multimedia content, such as videos and podcasts, is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices for content promotion.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and experiment with new content formats and styles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as collaboration with different teams and stakeholders is essential.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and a passion for staying updated with industry trends.
