  1. Design and Engineering Leadership:
    • Lead the electrical design team, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards (e.g., IEC, NEC), and client requirements.
    • Develop and review detailed electrical engineering plans, including single-line diagrams, load calculations, lighting layouts, and equipment schedules.
    • Perform power distribution design, grounding systems, and protection schemes for high- and low-voltage systems.
    • Oversee integration of electrical systems with other disciplines (HVAC, plumbing, structural).
  2. Project Management and Coordination:
    • Manage all electrical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle (FEED, detailed design, construction, commissioning).
    • Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, and cross-discipline teams to ensure seamless electrical system integration.
    • Ensure project milestones are met by monitoring electrical engineering progress, resolving design conflicts, and adjusting plans as needed.
  3. Technical Compliance and Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure all electrical installations comply with relevant local codes, standards (IEEE, IEC, NFPA), and safety regulations.
    • Review and approve technical submittals, vendor drawings, and material specifications for electrical components (e.g., transformers, switchgear, generators).
    • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify the quality of electrical works and adherence to approved designs.
  4. Procurement and Vendor Management:
    • Provide technical guidance for the procurement of electrical equipment and materials, ensuring compatibility with project requirements.
    • Evaluate vendor proposals and participate in the selection process of electrical suppliers.
