Job Overview:

The Fleet Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving sales of machinery to fleet customers.

This role requires a strategic approach to identify opportunities, build relationships, and close deals that align with the company’s sales objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the machinery industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of exceeding targets.

Key responsibilities & duties:

  • Create and implement strategic sales plans to target fleet customers and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop innovative approaches to penetrate the fleet market segment.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with fleet managers, purchasing agents, and other key decision-makers.
  • Understand the unique needs and requirements of fleet customers and tailor sales presentations accordingly.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the company’s machinery products, features, and benefits.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of our machinery solutions.
  • Lead negotiations with fleet customers to secure contracts and agreements for machinery sales.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for both parties.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management, highlighting sales performance and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with internal teams including sales support, marketing, and customer service to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, insights, and strategies for success.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the machinery or heavy equipment industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Kurdish, Arabic and English required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the Iraq.
