The LN Site Access Administrator, Senior is a professional position within the Operations department primarily based at Amentum’s initial Task Order (TO) location, the US Baghdad Embassy Complex (BEC), in Baghdad, Iraq and will be associated with the Program Management Office (PMO). This position reports to the Operations Manager. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.

 

 

DUTIES:

 

  • The selected candidate will need to work closely with the HR Site Access Specialist and the HR Travel Specialist to assure all employees have the documents needed to travel in and around Iraq.
  • Assume responsibility for comprehensive visa program: applications, tracking and expiration oversight.
  • Responsible for data collecting, proofing, translating into Arabic, and processing of all visa documents for Foreign Nationals (FNs) and American Nationals (ANs).
  • The selected candidate will be the subject matter expert on procedures pertaining to obtaining Iraq visas and vetting to allow for travel throughout Iraq and will work closely with the Government of Iraq (GOI), Iraq Ministry of the Interior (MOI) and our Embassy Chief of Mission (COM) Badge Office to make sure all employees have the proper identification for work sites and travel.
  • The duties of this position will require travel in Iraq as well.
  • Ability to maintain professional composure in all situations and work in a diverse and multi-cultural environment.
  • Responsible also for the process to obtain Iraq-wide badges for all PAE employees at all task order locations.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • This position requires excellent public relations skills, cultural aptitude and diplomacy
  • Must be familiar with the Iraq visa process.
  • Must be familiar with the vetting and badge processing for GOI and COM. Ability to successfully multi-task and respond to deadline-driven goals
  • Three plus years of relevant liaison experience
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, terminology and systems such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, managing files and records and other office procedures .

 

 

REQUIRED:

Education: High school diploma required.

Security Vetting: Must obtain a favorable RSO certification as required by the position. Must maintain eligibility at the required security level for the duration of the contract.

Language Skills: The selected candidate must be fluent in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).

Medical: Favorable passage of a drug screen and physical examination.

  • Relevant overseas liaison experience.
  • Experience working with PAE.

WORKING AND LIVING CONDITIONS:

This position may be in a war zone, in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere desert-like environment. Temperatures can reach 120- 130 degrees Fahrenheit/50- 55 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment, as well as willing and able to deploy to Iraq for extended periods. Work schedules are a minimum of 6 days per week and 10 hours per day, while some jobs have higher daily and weekly minimums. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors. This includes being able to lift and carry 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time and being capable of running and ‘duck & cover’ during emergencies without putting oneself or others at risk.
