RESPONSIBILITIES
Wood is currently recruiting for Static Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to strengthen our team in Basra, Iraq 5/2 daily work we are only considering applications from local Iraqi nationals preferably residing in Iraq, Basra
- Experience in Preventative Mechanical Maintenance
- Installation, inspection, repair of Static Mechanical equipment for hazardous (classified) areas.
- Effective communicator – can understand and speak good level of English
- Knowledge of oil and gas best practice safety and control of work processes
- Experience in all static equipment such as heat exchangers of all kinds. Filters, strainer, columns, vessels, valves, piping, flanges (flange management) and torquing
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive and organizational skills
- Mechanical Engineering Degree (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Passion for Mechanical and technology
- Minimum 5 years of experience
