Job Overview
Responsibilities
- Execute spot purchases of various types of materials including spare parts and equipment.
- Perform commercial activities associated with low and medium value purchases including spot bidding, price and contractual terms and conditions negotiations.
- Ensure day-to-day operational needs of supported clients are timely met.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and other internal functions (i.e., Law, Warehouse, Supply Chain, Inventory Analyst) to resolve various issues associated to contracting, technical and expediting.
- Manage relationship with vendors in conjunction with clients.
- Ensure all activities associated with the execution and management of spot orders are in compliance with process and procedures and applicable laws.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or science.
- 3+ year experience in contracting or buying (O&G sector preferred).
