Job Overview

JOB DESCRIPTION:

AUIB is looking to employ a Student Recruitment Officer to supports the University’s enrollment, retention and graduation goals, establishes and administers programs for recruiting students to the University undergraduate programs. Independently represents the institution to targeted high schools and other institutions and academies. Processes, analyses and reports on data collected through recruitment efforts, as well as strategizes on opportunities to enhance recruitment efforts.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Represents the University to targeted institutions; visits high schools, speaks to groups and individual students; meets with school Principals, administrators and/or other representatives to promote outreach activities and as required to assist other recruiters.
  2. Develops, coordinates, and delivers outreach programs and marketing strategies, recruitment efforts; arranges visits and tours for prospective students and parents.
  3. Serves independently as the point person for internal coordination of university student recruitment and enrollment management goals utilizing specific knowledge gained of admissions, registration criteria and financial aid and/or scholarship information and deadlines.
  4. Serves as liaison between prospects and point-of-contact representatives in the academic colleges utilizing specific knowledge gained of the university colleges, educational programs and degrees.
  5. Participates in and/or organizes and implements all aspects of large, multi-departmental special events utilizing presentation and promotional materials, maintaining budgetary and operational controls, coordination skills with multiple entities and representing the university at local, statewide and national events.
  6. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

 

Experience, and Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related
  • At least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified (sales, marketing, and recruitment preferred)
  • Possess own transportation. As this job required travel to the schools in Baghdad.

  • Ability to provide leadership and guidance to administrative support staff and/or students.
