Dar Al-Kurd Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Survey Engineer (Surveyor) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, preparing maps, and ensuring the accuracy of survey data for construction and development projects. This role will play a key part in ensuring the precision and quality of our civil engineering and construction operations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys and measure distances, angles, and elevations to determine boundaries, property lines, and topographical features.
- Prepare accurate maps, drawings, and reports from field survey data.
- Collaborate with the engineering and construction teams to ensure the survey data aligns with project specifications.
- Utilize survey equipment, including GPS systems, total stations, and theodolites, to capture precise data.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of survey data used in planning, design, and construction processes.
- Ensure all survey work complies with legal and regulatory standards.
- Manage and maintain survey equipment, ensuring it is properly calibrated and functional.
- Communicate with subcontractors and project managers to report on survey results and project progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in land surveying and civil engineering projects.
- Must own a car (required for site travel).
- Fluency in Arabic (essential), proficiency in English, and knowledge of Kurdish is a plus.
- Proficiency in using modern survey equipment (GPS, Level, total stations, and other survey instruments).
- Advanced MS Office, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D etc.
