Job Overview

Description

Job Duties:

  • Perform various levels of support for systems and servers (Linux or Windows based).
  • Install and configure various network equipment.
  • Install, configure, manage, and troubleshoot the following systems: (Identity
  • Management Systems, CCTV, Email system, Storage arrays and clusters, Firewalls,
  • Network monitoring systems, PBX and Call Manager, Web servers, Load Balancers,
  • Backup and Data protection software, Databases, DNS, NTP).
  • Perform various administration tasks in (VMWare, Citrix, Hyper-v, RHV).
  • Create custom scripts to automate various tasks and workflows using (Powershell, Bash, Ansible).
  • Contact vendors and support providers through ticket systems, email or phone to solve issues and bugs.
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
  • Apply patches and updates on various systems.
  • Write technical guides and procedures.
  • Support the “IT Help Desk” team when needed.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the Engineering team.
  • Ensure all service level agreements are met.
  • Participate in a rotating shift to ensure full support.

Servers:

  • Hardware maintenance for any installed server.
  • Configure Networking for any installed server.
  • Hardware upgrade and configuration for any installed server.
  • Setup, Install, and Configure the company’s server at data centres.
  • Install, Configure, Maintain and upgrade GitLab repositories Manager.
  • Server’s Log monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshoot servers and Services Company wide.
  • Installing Linux Server, Windows Server.
  • Servers and Conference devices network troubleshooting.
  • Configure Networking for any installed server.
  • Research and develop custom services and applications as needed.
  • Servers’ logs monitoring.
  • Maintain server inventory services “Rack tables”.
  • Administrate the company recursive and authoritative DNS servers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in technology related fields or equivalent.
  • One of the following certificates: RHCSA, MSCA, CompTIA Server+, Linux+, Security+, VCP-DCV, CCNA Collaboration.
  • 2 Years in IT system/hardware administration support.
