Job Description: As a Talent Acquisition and Development Officer, you will be instrumental in driving our organization’s success by attracting, identifying, and nurturing top-tier talent. You will spearhead innovative recruitment strategies, collaborate closely with clients to enhance job descriptions, and implement effective talent development programs. Your role will be pivotal in shaping our workforce and fostering a culture of growth and excellence.

Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

  • Develop and execute cutting-edge recruitment strategies to attract top-tier candidates through diverse channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
  • Conduct comprehensive candidate assessments, ensuring alignment with job requirements and cultural fit.
  • Partner with hiring managers to refine job requirements and optimize job descriptions for maximum appeal.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of talent, actively engaging with potential candidates for future opportunities.
  • Keep meticulous records of candidates in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

 

Talent Development:

  • Collaborate with clients’ HR teams to identify learning and development needs.
  • Design, implement, and oversee talent development programs that align with organizational goals.
  • Continuously assess the effectiveness of talent development initiatives, gathering feedback and driving improvements.
  • Undertake other relevant duties as required to support organizational objectives.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in HR and talent acquisition, preferably within a dynamic environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and adept at managing competing priorities.
  • Innovative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with talent development principles and practices is advantageous.
  • Fluency in Kurdish and English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time, office-based role.
  • Working days: Sunday to Thursday.
  • 40 hours per week.
