About the role
The Technical Support Specialist ensures the efficient operation of IT systems by providing technical support, managing network performance, and maintaining hardware and software. This role involves troubleshooting issues, administering user accounts, and coordinating with departments to integrate and optimize IT tools, contributing to Tiptop’s operational effectiveness and service quality.

Key Responsibilities
• Ensure IT systems (networks, VoIP, computers) function correctly and resolve performance issues.
• Monitor and maintain network performance, addressing connectivity disruptions.
• Perform routine updates and troubleshooting for hardware and software.
• Provide technical support for users’ devices, including desktops and laptops.
• Administer software tools, including installation, configuration, and updates.
• Manage user accounts, including creation, modification, and permissions.
• Enforce security policies for software access and integration.
• Coordinate with departments for tool and software integration.
• Set up accounts for new users in collaboration with HR and provide necessary hardware and training.
• Test business platforms, document issues, and report bugs.
• Maintain and ensure the functionality of business platforms.
• Collaborate with product and development teams for testing new releases and provide feedback.
• Manage support tickets, prioritize requests, and communicate with users for resolution.
• Track and manage technical assets, including laptops and phones, and perform regular audits.
• Identify and escalate significant technical issues to the technical manager with detailed reports.
