Responsibilities for Telemarketing manager

  1. Work with team members on the call floor to meet sales and performance goals.
  2. Accomplishes department objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating department activities.
  3. Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  4. Maintains staff by orienting, and training them.
  5. Develops personal growth opportunities for the employees in the department.
  6. Develops, coordinates, and enforces systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
  7. Collaborates with Sales Manager to establish sales goals and to develop scripts for use by telemarketing team.
  8. Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals.
  9. Monitors and reviews phone calls to ensure quality service and compliance with applicable policies and best practices.
  10. Maintain detailed records of outgoing and ingoing calls as well as follow up information and outcomes.
  11. Measures team performance; communicates goals and quotas to team; and encourages and motivates telemarketers as they work toward reaching their goals.
  12. Prepares and presents weekly and monthly reports.
  13. Resolves customer complaints and grievances.
  14. Performs other related duties as assigned.
  15. Contacting potential and current customers to inform them of the company’s product and services. Scripts are provided with “script”.
  16. Meet or exceed projected weekly and monthly sales goals.
  17. Maintains quality service by enforcing quality and the telemarketing standards, analysing and resolving quality and customer service problems, and recommending system improvements

Qualifications for Telemarketing manager

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Excellent sales and customer service skills.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  4. Strong supervisory and leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and manage a team.
  5. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  6. Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software to prepare reports and measure performance.
  7. Proven experience as telemarketing manager or similar sales/customer service role.
  8. Able to accept constructive criticism and continually improve sales techniques.
  9. Patient and able to handle customer rejection.
  10. work under pressure.
  11. Ability to promote a product or service using persuasive language and techniques.
  12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  13. Excellent communication and presentation skills, and excellent presentation of presentations.
  14. Professional experience using online forms to enter payment and personal information.
  15. Experience in a position where meeting sales goals was important indication of performance.
  16. The ability to conduct a constructive dialogue in order to convince the client to come to the company.
  17. Attention to detail and possess the art of listening and listening well.

Requirements for working as telemarketing manager position:

  • university degree.
  • At least three years of successful telemarketing experience required.
  • It is preferred to have a track record showing the required sales percentage.
