Key Responsibilities of the Trainer for Data Collection Teams

  • Conduct baseline and endline surveys with 500 participants to assess perceptions of peace and security needs.
  • Train data collection teams on effective survey methodologies, including ethical considerations and data accuracy.
  • Develop training materials and guidance for enumerators to ensure standardized data collection processes.
  • Supervise field activities to ensure the quality and reliability of collected data.
  • Collaborate with the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team to analyze survey results and generate reports.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to enumerators to enhance data collection techniques.
  • Ensure the timely submission of data and contribute to the preparation of project reports.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A university degree in social sciences, statistics, development studies, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in data collection, survey methodology, or M&E activities.
  • Strong training and facilitation skills, with experience in capacity-building for field teams.
  • Proficiency in survey tools and data analysis software is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in field settings and engage with diverse community members.
  • Proficiency in Arabic (English is an added advantage).
