Translator

Responsibilities:

• Reading and comprehending material: Understanding the context and nuances of the source material.
• Researching terminology: Using specialized dictionaries and translation tools to ensure accuracy.
• Translating text and audio: Converting medical content from English language to Kurdish Sorani.
• Proofreading and editing: Ensuring the translated text is free of errors and maintains the original meaning and tone.
• Preparing subtitles: Creating subtitles for videos and online presentations.
• Collaborating with clients and team members: Ensuring the translation meets their needs and expectations.

Skills:

• Fluency in multiple languages: Proficiency in at least two languages besides your native language. English and Kurdish Sorani, and Arabic preferred.
• Attention to detail: Excellent proofreading skills to identify and correct errors.
• Time management: Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Qualifications:

• Educational background: A degree in Translation, Interpreting, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven work experience as a translator or interpreter.
• Medical background is preferred
